Aparthotel Adagio Paris Montmartre

The location was great and the bed was comfortable

There was a central switch for lights, and the individual ones didn’t work, which meant when we got up to go to the toilet we had to go with the torches of our phones otherwise we would wake everybody up with the central light.

Beliggenheden var enestående. Virkelig godt udstyret køkken og god køkkenfaciliteter. Perfekt til børnefamilier eller dem der også nyder at have køkken som en mulighed. Gode senge. Personalet i receptionen var venlige.

Det var mus på vores værelse. Musen spiste noget af vores mad og kravlede op i vores søns seng. Vi fik ikke hurtig nok hjælp til at få det løst, deres undskyldning var at det ikke var muligt at sætte musefælder op i weekenden og vi fik ikke gjort ekstra rent selvom vi anmodet om det. Vi havde 2 ud af 4 nætter med dårlig søvn pga musens aktivitet. Manageren af hotellet ville ikke tale med os selvom hun var på stedet. Vi har sendt en skriftlig klage. Vi venter fortsat på svar.Vi fik morgenmaden refunderet.

The breakfast was generous and changed a little everyday. The staff were absolutely lovely and really helpful and kind. The location is excellent.

Small elevator

We stayed at the hotel at the beginning of September. Compared to other options in Paris, especially in the Montmartre region, the hotel offers quite good value for what you pay. The location is superb, very close to Sacré-Cœur and the lively area around it. There are a lot of bars, restaurants, bakeries, cafes, mini markets and grocery shops, everything you need in the surrounding area. The hotel is mostly quiet, with a nice garden at the back. There is also "lend what you need" section in the lobby area and a water fountain with hot and cold water, including sparkling, where you can fill your water bottles. The rooms are as big as you can reasonably expect, considering how popular the area is. Having a kitchen is very helpful when you have a toddler and overall, the place was mostly clean, with nothing major to complain about.

Generally small things, no big issues, but there is definitely room for improvement. The elevator is pretty small, the typical "4 person" elevator where you cannot fit 2 people with standard luggage. Because of the small elevator, I guess, the room is not cleaned every day, which makes sense. Very small shower cabin: if you're bigger than the average person, you need to play Tetris to get in, wash yourself and get out :) Minor repairs are not done and are put off until things break: see the photo of the water pipes in the bathroom. Plus, the water pipe under the kitchen sink was leaking. We mentioned it during our visit, but I don't know if it was fixed after we left the hotel. Many people mention the lack of AC. In September (around 25 degrees Celsius) we didn't suffer much from it, the ceiling fan was good enough. I'm not so sure if it could be enough in summer though, so I agree that AC would be a good addition. During our visit, I noticed that many front desk folks had started working there recently, so there seems to be quite a bit of turnover. They were generally nice and helpful, but clearly lacked experience when non-standard questions popped up. I would argue that improving the employees' working conditions would increase the overall quality of the hotel, which would increase the profit Adagio is making ;) so, win-win for everyone, but what do I know :)

Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man für einen Städtetrip braucht, nämlich ein gutes Bett für die Erholung, sodass man ohne Rückenschmerzen wieder in einen neuen Tag starten kann!!! Es war sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Hotel liegt an einer perfekten Lage.

Der Lift ist sehr klein und war manchmal einwenig mühsam ihn zu bedienen
