The location is wonderful and the staff is exceptionally kind and strives to make you feel at home.
It is outdated. It is too expensive for what it offers. No modern amenities in the room. Not even a bottle of water is offered.

1.Special personal in the one elevator, they try to connect, asking... 2. Breakfast prepaid -it was not a breakfast-hotel gave only 46$ per person deposit (but not include tax and tip)-nobody explain. When we check out we received extra bill for tips and taxes for breakfast. Better not pay for breakfast for advance -chipper and never mind . This is fraud from Hotel , perhaps deception. 3.06:00-08:00 in the morning no fruits as promise , no chairs, very formal. We understood that Hotel would like save money. 4.very cold in the bar, first flor and we seek.

A localização é, sem dúvida, o principal ponto positivo. O hotel está situado em uma região privilegiada de Manhattan, próximo ao Central Park. Sua história e arquitetura também despertam admiração. Infelizmente, esses atributos não foram suficientes para compensar a experiência decepcionante com a acomodação.
Hospedar-me no The Pierre era um desejo antigo, justamente por sua história, reputação e tradição na hotelaria de luxo de Nova York. Infelizmente, a experiência foi profundamente decepcionante. O quarto estava muito aquém do padrão esperado de um hotel cinco estrelas, especialmente considerando os valores cobrados. Encontramos rodapés deteriorados, pinturas grosseiras, acabamentos danificados, sinais evidentes de desgaste, portas com aparência de manutenção inadequada e instalações elétricas e de comunicação visualmente ultrapassadas. O conjunto transmitia uma sensação de descuido incompatível com a categoria do estabelecimento. Não confundo arquitetura clássica com instalações antigas ou mal conservadas. Pelo contrário, aprecio hotéis históricos e reconheço o valor de preservar sua identidade. Entretanto, existe uma diferença enorme entre preservar a tradição e negligenciar a manutenção. O banheiro, embora revestido em mármore, também apresentava um aspecto datado, sem transmitir o refinamento esperado de uma acomodação dessa categoria. A situação se tornou ainda mais frustrante quando manifestamos nossa insatisfação e solicitamos o encerramento antecipado da hospedagem. Encontramos dificuldades para obter uma solução satisfatória, o que comprometeu ainda mais nossa percepção sobre o atendimento. O The Pierre vende uma experiência de luxo, mas o quarto que recebemos não correspondia à imagem, ao prestígio e, principalmente, ao preço praticado. Um hotel cinco estrelas não pode depender exclusivamente de sua história e localização para justificar suas tarifas. O verdadeiro luxo está na excelência dos detalhes, na conservação impecável e no respeito às expectativas de quem escolhe e paga por uma experiência diferenciada. Saí profundamente decepcionada. O que deveria ter sido uma hospedagem especial acabou se tornando uma experiência frustrante, que não pretendo repetir.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön. Die Lage ist perfekt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber… ein sehr schöner Ort, um nach einem aufregenden Tag im Großstadtdschungel wieder runterzukommen.
