We stayed in room 401 (the Sky & Stars Suite), and the artistic interior design by Heinz Julen combined with spectacular views made our stay truly remarkable. The service was top-notch throughout, starting with a seamless electric taxi pick-up right from the train station and warm, exceptionally attentive staff. The central location is ideal for exploring Zermatt, and the overall boutique atmosphere makes it stand out from typical alpine hotels.

While the open fireplace creates an incredible ambience, the spacious attic room cooled down quite quickly after the fire went out, making the morning notably chilly. In addition, operating the skylight roof blinds was rather cumbersome and could be much more user-friendly.
