“One of my favorite budget friendly stays in Kyoto.”
Nothing really. Wouldn’t choose the twin beds next time, but that was all they had available.
“A very nice hotel, though a bit far from the city center”
The hotel itself is very pretty and new, and the facility itself was really nice and well equipped. The staff was very helpful with some stuff we needed assistance with. I really liked that the room was fully darkened when the curtains were down, which is a rare thing to find in hotels generally.
“Nice room and convenient location”
This hotel is conveniently located next to several supermarkets and is an easy walk to many restaurants in the downtown area as well as train stations and bus routes to get around Kyoto or to its outer fringes to see all the sites. The room (premier room) was beautifully appointed with a great bathroom and I loved the beds. The breakfast that comes with the room includes all you can drink coffee from the machine in the lobby with breads (you can toast or warm up) and fresh juice. This was great.
I found a few things with the service of the hotel to be odd. We stayed 6 nights and they said that they only scheduled cleaning of the room every 3 days. I don't care if the sheets aren't changed daily but living in a hotel room creates a bit of rubbish and there were only two tiny bins in the room, so by day 4 when they came to clean, we had bags of rubbish filling up half the living room. The weirdest thing was that the cleaners just left all the rubbish there. They changed the bedsheets and did nothing else. They did not change the 6 dirty coffee cups for clean ones or put more towels in the room. I had to ask the hotel staff and they (seemingly begrudgingly) changed the cups for new ones quickly and told us to just throw all our rubbish in the hallway. We got more towels from reception. It's a very nice room but don't expect hotel level service staying here.
“A more authentic side of Kyoto”
Loved the design and friendly and service minded staff. The availability to do laundry was a great help during our travels too. Loved the location outside the busyness but lots of options for food and more.

La ubicación es muy buena, está cerca de parada de metro por lo que es fácil moverse. La habitación es distinta pero cómoda.
El desayuno no me gustó nada. Pagamos el d3sayuno y no lo disfrutamos, estaba como recalentado. No parecía hecho ao momento. No me gustó nada.

Close to everything - bus stops, train stations, good restaurants, and shops.

très bon emplacement - très propre et grand confort. La chambre a une fenetre mais on ne voit pas à travers / On ne sait meme pas si la chambre donne sur l'extérieur - cela surprend un peu au début et après on s'y fait
