“Enjoyable stay in Kyoto”
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Granvia Kyoto. It’s a huge, rather grand hotel, perhaps a little dated in places, but still very comfortable and with a certain old-fashioned elegance. The location is incredibly convenient, right at Kyoto Station, although navigating the station itself was quite an adventure! No matter how hard we tried, we never seemed to manage to enter or leave through the same entrance twice. It really felt like a labyrinth! Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly, professional and attentive. We also made use of the swimming pool, which was a lovely bonus after a day exploring Kyoto. The breakfasts were absolutely fabulous. There were two options, a generous buffet in one restaurant and a traditional Japanese set breakfast in another. We tried both and thoroughly enjoyed them. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. The hotel may be showing its age a little, but the excellent service, wonderful breakfasts and unbeatable location more than made up for it. We’d happily stay again!

Excellent location right in the train station, but didn't feel like a station hotel, felt v separate. Service was fantastic. We ended up upgrading to a larger suite because one of our kids was sick and we couldn't face squeezing a family into a twin room - it really exceeded our expectations, super spacious and big comfy beds. When we'd checked in they'd aput bed guards on the kids bed - we hadn't even asked. Great customer service.

京都駅内だったのが一番の魅力でした 天候が良くなかったので・・・ 朝食もとても美味しくてつい食べ過ぎてしまいました 枕が気持ちよくてぐっすりお休みできました
