“An October Visit”
I appreciated the 24/7 Tik Tok Diner access and available seating in the lobby while waiting on friends and/or family as well as getting out of the room so it could be refreshed. I enjoyed an afternoon cocktail at the hotel bar and the bartender made my beverage choice perfectly.
“Fabulous”
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great, right in the centre of Midtown with very quick access to the subway. The room was surprisingly spacious, the bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice. We had housekeeping everyday which is always nice. We also ate breakfast at the tick tock diner attached to the hotel which was great value for money compared to similar places around. The view from our room was amazing. It’s a really lovely old traditional NYC hotel with doormen and a big lobby.

Room 782 is tired with a peeling finish on the bathroom door and carpeting that looks as though it could be shampooed or replaced. The bed pillows are horrible, lumpy and stiff, terrible if you have an arthritic neck.

Great location, clean facilities
Although the accomodation was a little bit outdated, we didn’t mind. What we did mind though was the fact we paid extra for a room with a view and this was our view pictured below. Spoke to hotel staff who said the room was listed down as a room with a view so be careful when paying extra for these things at this hotel, there’s no guarantee of seeing MSG or the empire state or any of the New York skyline from your window as advertised in the photos of rooms with a view. The room was also smaller than pictured on the photos which was a little disappointing. We still enjoyed our time in New York despite this.

The staff was phenomenal. Mohammed was at the check in area and he was polite, friendly, and provided exceptional service. The location was excellent

“Cumplió nuestras espectativas”
Sin dudas la localización es inmejorable, con la estación de subte enfrente, estación de tren a una cuadra. Nosotros fuimos a la Comic Con y estaba a 4 cuadras! La atención de todo el personal estuvo muy bien, tanto de la recepción, como de limpieza (pasaron todos los días de nuestra estancia) y los guardias de seguridad en los asensores. La habitación no es grande pero la queríamos para descansar nada más, así que no nos afectó en nada. Cama normal (dormimos muy bien) escritorio con silla, un buen espejo, lugar para colgar ropa y cómoda con cajones. El baño también muy bien, agua caliente siempre. Aire acondicionado muy bien (al segundo día pasaron a cambiar la botonera por unas nuevas táctiles). La historia del edificio como tal fue una de las cosas que me entusiasmó para alojarnos ahí. Si bien las habitaciones estan modernizadas todo lo demás es de época y me encantó (Tesla le da el toque). Yo evacué absolutamente todas mis dudas a través del mail antes de reservar (costos extras como dejar equipaje, late check out, refrigerador si quisieramos, recepción de paquetes de envíos, depósito por daños, etc) y no me llevé ninguna sorpresa, todo fue tal cual me dijo John. Si un día vuelvemos a NY sin dudas nos alojaremos nuevamente.
No tengo quejas. Quizá que el refrigerador estuviese incluído en la estadía estaría bueno.
