One of the Worst Hotels I Have Ever Stayed In – Definitely Not Worthy of 4 Stars! This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in throughout my entire life, and I have travelled extensively around the world. Let’s start with the fact that this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, charging more than €200 per night. At that price, I would expect at least a decent level of service, comfort, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this hotel failed on every level. Check-in and Staff The check-in process is practically self-service. The reception staff seem extremely inexperienced and barely speak English. While I certainly do not expect everyone in Japan to speak fluent English, I do expect the staff at a 4-star hotel in one of Japan’s most visited cities to have at least basic English communication skills. They were unable to help even with simple requests or basic recommendations. The overall level of service was disappointing and completely unacceptable for a hotel in this price category. Rooms and Cleanliness The rooms are ridiculously small. There is barely enough space to open one large suitcase, so be prepared to travel light! Housekeeping is another major disappointment. The rooms are not properly cleaned, and when housekeeping does come, they seem to do little more than replace the towels. The room also feels constantly humid, making the stay even more uncomfortable. Laundry Facilities – An Absolute Disaster The hotel advertises laundry facilities, but in reality, there are only four washing machines located in the basement. We tried to do our laundry, and I ended up paying four times because the dryer was not working properly. Despite spending extra money, my clothes remained damp and smelled terrible. To make matters worse, the hotel staff removed my clothes from the machine without my permission. The entire experience was frustrating, inconvenient, and completely unacceptable.

The pillows were extremely uncomfortable and the linen used would come undone. It didn’t feel sanitary as the mattress would become exposed. The sleeping experience did not match the rest of the experience of the hotel.

Viajamos por nuestra luna de miel y nos hicieron un regalo especial por este motivo. La chica de recepción que nos hizo el check in (por desgracia no recuerdo el nombre), fue muy amable y encantadora. El desayuno está muy bueno.
