“Perfection”
Everything was perfect - service from staff, the luxurious feel in the room and throughout the hotel, the setting and the atmosphere. Perfect for couples. Very close to everything in the city, in a good area for food and strolling into the city. We loved that every night there was music in the courtyard for aperitivi. Classy, chic and everything we wanted and needed for our minimoon in Rome!

It was right downtown Rome, the beds were amazing, the rooms were lovely.
The room we stayed in was not very convenient. We were in the lower part of the hotel, we had to go down several steps, up several steps, almost hazardous. For the amount of monies we should have been put in a different room. My husband uses a cane. Would I stay there again, properly not.

Getting to my room was unacceptable! The walk to my room was convoluted , dangerous and unappealing. It was like going to the cleaning quarters. Very bad!!!

We visited years ago and had an exceptional experience at this hotel. We particularly liked the roof top and chapel. We looked forward to the same this year, but..
We were put in the basement, with NO view to Rome (which is the original reason we selected to come back to this hotel) or even a view of the neighborhood. We entered our room area from the parking lot - not even through the hotel. The room was not very well furnished. No couch or love seat, only a simple chair next to the desk. The room was rather sparsely decorated. Was it because we booked through Bookings.com that we were roomed in the basement?

“One of the most beautiful luxury hotels, located in Trastevere. Luxurious & amazing!”
Our stay at Donna Camilla was absolutely fantastic! We were coming back to Rome for our last night in Italy, and the staff upgraded us to the Crown Jewel suite, complete with a soaking tub, walk-in shower, living room, and a HUGE bonus, the 1000 SF private patio overlooking Rome and the hotel courtyard. To say we were blown away is an understatement, we were beyond thrilled to spend our last night here. The only downside was that it was only for one night!
