There really was nothing we did not like.

The service is flawless and the hotel whilst a little dated is supremely elegant and peaceful.
check in at midnight was too long and laborious, after a long flight and at that time of the day we dont like being asked lots of questions.

Hotel is really beautiful and the pools are amazing. Same for the service and the rooms in general. Definitely a real 5 star hotel. Restaurant serve good international and local food and breakfast is very good. Our suite was really large and well furnished, thou it could have something more to be more Bali style.
The price seems to be a little bit on the higher side. We have been in 3 hotels during our stay in Bali this trip. All 5 star luxury. All 3 aligned in the price but this was our least favourite of the 3. Still a great hotel.

Our entire stay was truly fantastic. From the moment of arrival we were made to feel extremely welcome. Every single member of the team at The Legian could not have been friendlier or more attentive. The rooms, hotel facilities and grounds were fantastic. The breakfast was fantastic every morning, with great service, as was the pool waitier service. We had evening meal there on Friday night and again the service and quality of the meal was excellent. A truly great hotel and wonderful stay!
Could not find a fault
“The breaking waves, the sense of calm. We had our honeymoon here 25 years ago, and it did not disappoint.”
We literally did not leave the hotel. We could not get enough of the view, and the sense of much needed calm. The breakfast is sublime, and the restaurant service was exceptionally good.
We were disappointed with the in room dining. All our meals across the three evenings were lukewarm.
