It is very difficult to put into words the experience my wife Shirley and I recently had in the Radisson Blu Zaffron Resort, Santorini. We booked 4 nights to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. We have stayed in some beautiful hotels before but this hotel excelled due to the combination of luxury, a stunning location, exceptional food, and the highest quality of service we have ever experienced. It’s the little details. Like the welcome we received the moment we arrived, our room upgrade and surprise cake and bubbly, our incredible suite and plunge pool, the or the perfect beach and high quality restaurants and bars (just a stones throw away). We left the hotel with a sense of truly being truly looked after. It’s the simple things like a text to ask if we wanted the room to be serviced when we had made a mistake and left the wrong light on all day, or the incredibly efficient transfer service we could book on What’s App, or the charming and attentive restaurant and recitation staff who anticipate your every need. When internationally standards of service appear to be dropping; this hotel is a gem that completely contradicts this trend. We will cherish our time there for many years to come and hope to be back again soon.
