Human Rights Statement

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Tato stránka je dostupná pouze v angličtině.

Tech Fly, operator of location.travel, is committed to respecting internationally recognised human rights, in line with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This statement sets out how we apply that commitment across our own operations and our travel supply chain.

1. Scope

This statement applies to:

  • Tech Fly employees and contractors
  • LiteAPI.travel and other technology providers we use
  • Accommodation providers whose inventory is offered through location.travel
  • Guests and other users of the service

2. Our commitments

  • Non-discrimination — we do not tolerate discrimination on the basis of race, colour, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Freedom of expression and privacy — we respect users' right to privacy (see our Privacy Notice) and to express opinions, including in reviews, within the limits of our Terms of Service.
  • Labour rights — we uphold freedom of association, fair wages, safe working conditions, and reasonable working hours for our own team, and expect the same of our partners.
  • No forced or child labour — see our separate Modern Slavery Statement.
  • Child protection in travel — we align with the principles of The Code (ECPAT) on protecting children from sexual exploitation in travel and tourism. Any credible report will be escalated immediately.
  • Indigenous, local, and vulnerable communities — we expect partners to respect the rights of communities impacted by tourism, including cultural heritage and land rights.

3. Due diligence

As a small intermediary, we do not contract directly with the accommodation providers displayed on location.travel. Our leverage runs through our upstream distribution partner LiteAPI (Nuitée Travel Limited, Ireland), which onboards suppliers, and through the contracts we sign with any direct partners. We commit to raise credible human-rights concerns with LiteAPI and to ask for inventory to be removed from location.travel where a serious concern cannot be adequately addressed.

4. Grievance mechanism

Anyone can raise a human-rights concern confidentially by emailing info@location.travel with the subject Human Rights Concern. Reports are handled discreetly and retaliation against anyone raising a concern in good faith is prohibited.

5. Review

This statement is reviewed at least annually and updated when our operations or the human-rights landscape materially change. It is approved by the management of Tech Fly.
