The rooms are spacious, especially for NYC!, clean, comfortable, and have everything you could need. Quality coffee machines, nice hair dryers, full body towels, filtered water, cozy robes, even an umbrella.

We have just returned home from a fabulous stay at the Conrad Downtown. I don’t normally leave reviews but absolutely had to take the time to say how impressed we were with everything at this hotel. Starting with the staff - everyone we met was so welcoming, kind and genuinely lovely. They made us feel right at home and nothing was too much trouble. The bell desk, reception and concierge were very friendly and always happy to help. Housekeeping was particularly excellent, leaving our rooms beautifully clean and tidy each day with nightly turn down services and fresh ice delivered to our door-which was hugely appreciated in the middle of a brutal heatwave! As someone who really, really values cleanliness, I can’t rate the standards at the Downtown Conrad highly enough. Everything was spotless and we had lovely fresh towels and bedding, really adding to the luxurious feel of our stay. We had a corner suite (836) which was huge and super spacious, with plenty of room for the four of us. The master bed was extremely comfortable and our two kids slept well on the pull out sofa bed in the lounge area. The nespresso coffee machine was replenished daily which was really appreciated, and our in room water dispenser was a life saver in the hot weather. We had two large plasma tv screens which was great for the couple of evenings we chose to stay in and give the kids a rest from all the walking. Our room was so quiet and there was absolutely no street noise, which was a relief after being in the chaos of midtown for most of the day! The bathroom was fabulous with a double sink, huge sunken bath tub, walk in shower unit and two separate toilets. Toiletries were very luxurous-Mojave Ghost to be exact! Breakfast was absolutely delicious - highly recommend the French toast! The hotel is located just a 5/10 minute walk from the subway up town and also Battery Park, so very easy to get around. We loved being downtown and enjoying a bit of calm in the evening. Being right across from Brookfield Place and very close to the Occulous was great for quick meals and a bit of relaxed shopping. Lastly, we must give a huge thank you to Ramida for arranging a lovely gift and a handmade chocolate New York taxi for our son’s birthday. It was such a special and thoughtful touch and we were so grateful, it really made his birthday. So, all in all, it was absolutely a 10/10 for us. Although it’s in the CBD and therefore perfect for business travellers, I would highly recommend for families as well, as it’s so quiet, clean and super comfortable. Thank you so much to everyone at the Conrad, you made our trip to NYC so special and we will definitely come back next time we visit!

Unfassbar schöner Blick aus dem Zimmer. Unbedingt Zimmer mit Flussblick wählen. Die Lage des Hotels ist top. (Park direkt vor dem Haus, in der Nähe One World Trade Center, Wall street, Freiheitsstatue,…) Großes, komfortables Zimmer - Suite. Traumhaftes Bett. Top Ausstattung. Unbedingt einmal die Rooftopbar besuchen und den Ausblick auf die Freiheitsstatue genießen. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder gerne kommen und sage Danke für einen tollen Aufenthalt.
Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Frühstück gebucht. Dabei darf man dann für einen bestimmten Wert frühstücken. Das finde ich etwas kompliziert und stressig. Wenn man das im Vorhinein bucht und bezahlt, sollte man nicht mehr überlegen müssen, was man jetzt alles bestellen kann.

My stay at this hotel was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Unfortunately, the staff showed a serious lack of responsibility, and the level of communication and responsiveness was very poor. More importantly, I left behind an item that is very valuable to me. I contacted the hotel several times to arrange for it to be delivered and even paid the delivery fees. A courier went to the hotel to collect the item, but unfortunately, the staff did not cooperate with him properly. I contacted the hotel only 12 hours after checking out, and they confirmed—both through a ticket number and a private message—that my lost item had been found and was being kept safely under a specific reference number. Despite all of this, the way the situation was handled was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend staying at a hotel that fails to respect even the basic standards of hospitality, responsibility, and guest service.
