Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Diese Seite ist nur auf Englisch verfügbar.

This statement is published voluntarily by Tech Fly, operator of location.travel. Tech Fly does not currently meet the statutory turnover threshold of section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 (£36 million) and is therefore not legally required to publish a statement. We have chosen to publish one in the format of s.54 so that guests, accommodation partners, and B2B counterparties can understand our approach.

1. Our organisation and supply chain

Tech Fly is a small technology company registered in Albania (Sheshi Avni Rustemi 22/2, 1001 Tirana, VAT L11904007C) that operates the online travel intermediary location.travel. Our principal supply chain consists of:

  • LiteAPI.travel — our upstream distribution partner, which contracts directly with hotel chains, wholesalers, and independent accommodation providers worldwide.
  • Downstream accommodation providers whose inventory is fulfilled through LiteAPI when guests book on location.travel.
  • Payment processors integrated through LiteAPI.
  • Cloud infrastructure and communication providers used to run the website.
  • A small internal team of contractors and employees.

2. Our policies

Tech Fly operates a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced or bonded labour, and child labour. We commit to:

  • Refusing to knowingly do business with any organisation involved in modern slavery or human trafficking
  • Treating our own staff and contractors fairly, with lawful pay, safe working conditions, and freedom of association
  • Protecting anyone who raises a concern in good faith from retaliation

3. Risk assessment

The global hospitality sector is recognised as an area of elevated modern-slavery risk, particularly regarding low-paid and migrant workers in accommodation, cleaning, and food service. Because we distribute third-party accommodation, most of the direct labour risk sits with the property owner rather than with us, but we recognise our indirect responsibility.

4. Due diligence

We do not conduct direct KYC or on-site audits of accommodation providers. That responsibility sits with LiteAPI (Nuitée Travel Limited, Ireland) under its own supplier-onboarding and contractual framework, since LiteAPI is the party that contracts the inventory we display.

  • We rely on LiteAPI's supplier onboarding, KYC, and contractual protections for the accommodation providers whose inventory reaches location.travel through the LiteAPI feed.
  • We require partners with whom we sign direct agreements to comply with all applicable labour and human-rights laws.
  • We investigate credible reports of modern slavery involving properties displayed on location.travel and escalate to LiteAPI, up to and including asking for the inventory to be removed from our platform.

5. Training and awareness

Our small internal team is briefed on modern-slavery risk indicators in the travel industry and on the escalation process. Training will scale as the organisation grows.

6. Reporting concerns

Anyone — guest, partner, employee, or third party — who suspects modern slavery or human trafficking connected to location.travel can report it confidentially to info@location.travel with the subject Modern Slavery Concern.

7. Review and approval

This statement is reviewed at least annually and updated as needed. It is approved by the management of Tech Fly.
