“Loads of potential.”
Beds very comfortable, food was amazing!
No closet, staff are rude (2x ladies behind the bar), there is no tea or coffee in the room… they have a kettle and cups, but no tea and coffee, which is expected in a 4 star hotel. Housekeeping also not regular, we got a message put under our room door that we missed cleaning time, as it ends at 10AM, this message was put under our door at 9AM.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Kyoto, with larger than a average rooms. Nice breakfast, very friendly staff.

“Grundsätzlich schönes und unkompliziertes Hotel in guter Lage”
Die Lage, die moderne Ausstattung, das freundliche Personal, das dazugehörige Restaurant.
Das Zimmer war leider so klein, dass wir unsere Koffer nur auf dem Bett öffnen konnten. Auf dem Boden ging das gar nicht. Zudem gab es viel zu wenig Möglichkeiten, Kleidung oder selbst Handtücher irgendwo gut und ausreichend aufhängen zu können. Die Klimaanlage hat leider direkt und sehr nah auf das Bett geblasen.
“Erg fijn hotel dichtbij de metro”
Mooi hotel met erg vriendelijk personeel en hele nette en schone kamers. Het ontbijt is geweldig. Je kunt kiezen uit verschillende varianten zoals Japans, Thais en Amerikaans en is erg uitgebreid. Het hotel ligt vlakbij de metro en diverse leuke restaurants.

Amazing location, within walking distance of great restaurants, cafés and sights. The rooms are nice and functional, and the staff were helpful.
The only downside was the housekeeping. Everything was perfect for the first few days, then it became irregular, with glasses not replaced and the bed only half made. We didn't raise it with the staff at the time, but it's worth mentioning.
